  1. Before putting the equipment into operation, raw materials such as strip coils, welding wire, and flux must be tested.

  2. The ends of the steel strip are welded using single‑wire or double‑wire submerged arc welding, and after rolling into a steel pipe, automatic submerged arc welding is employed for repair welding.

  3. Prior to forming, steel plates shall be straightened, trimmed, planed, cleaned, transported, and bent.

  4. The electrical contact pressure gauge is used to regulate the pressure in the hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the conveyor, ensuring smooth strip steel conveyance.

  5. The spiral pipe manufacturer states that forming is carried out using either external‑control or internal‑control rollers.

  3. Vigorously promote the use of coated pipelines; for example, applying an anti-corrosion coating to the inner wall not only extends the pipeline’s service life but also enhances the smoothness of the inner surface, reduces fluid friction, minimizes wax deposition, decreases the frequency of pigging operations, and lowers maintenance costs.

  4. Spiral pipe manufacturers state that newly designed steel pipes, such as double‑helix steel pipes—welded from thin‑walled, semi‑thick steel plates—not only exhibit higher strength than single‑layer pipes of the same thickness but also avoid brittle fracture.
